Russian Visa Requirements
The following documents should be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate to obtain visa to enter Russia.
Russian Tourist Visa
1. Your passport or one copy of the first page
(the passport should be valid for at least 3 months after the visa expires),
2. 3 photos (3 by 4 sm),
3. Russian Visa Application Form, completed and signed.
FOR US CITIZENS ONLY
Effective April 1, 2004, US citizens applying for Russians visas should submit to the Consulate a new Application Form. The new form is implemented on the basis of reciprocity and replaces the previous standard Application Form and the Supplemental Form. Please to view or print this form if you qualify. Note! Be sure to fill in the visa application form after you received your invitation, and specify there the same data as in the invitation: the name of the inviting travel agency, the purpose of the trip, the visa dates, the cities to visit.
4. Evidence of medical insurance

5. Tourist invitation letter to the Russian Federation from authorized Russian Agencies.
After you submit all the documents and papers needed, it should take the consulate from 1 to 21 days to make a visa, depending on how much you pay.
Russian Business Singel, Double and Multiple-Entry Visa

5. For stay exceeding 3 months, or multi entry visa, a HIV test required.
6. Official invitation from an organization authorized to invite business visitors to Russia. The Invitation to Russia must be from the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives; The Ministry of Interior or its local offices; or other authorized Russian Agencies. The letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the agency, signature and name of official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia. The Embassy reserves the right to request the original invitation.
